Automated Interaction Analysis of Reactive Behavioural Models*

چکیده

Reactive behavioural models are well known to support the problem-oriented development of embedded systems. Rigorous modelling tools allow developers to verify models automatically and to generate executable code for system implementations. Moreover, as we will show, the expressive power of rigorous modelling notations can be exploited further by supporting automated views of implicit model properties. In this paper we present an extension of the real-time modelling tool CIP Tool® by automated views of causal model properties. The viewers display interaction sequences and control flow structures of cooperating state machines. The views can be generated during the construction of a model. Furthermore, the basic interaction analysis algorithm is used to prevent the construction of models with unbounded interaction sequences. We describe the principle of operation of the automated viewers and the views they produce. Considerable productivity gains have been observed both for the development and maintenance phases of industrial projects.

Abstraction Relations between Internal and Behavioural Agent Models for Collective Decision Making

For agent-based modelling of collective phenomena, more and more agent models are employed that go beyond simple reactive behaviour. Such less trivial individual behaviours can be modelled either from an agent-internal perspective, in the form of direct (causal) temporal relations between internal states of the agent, or from an agent-external, behavioural perspective, in the form of more compl...

Correct Composition of Dephased Behavioural Models

Scenarios of execution are commonly used to specify partial behaviour and interactions between different objects and components in a system. To avoid overall inconsistency in specifications, various automated methods have emerged in the literature to compose (behavioural) models. In recent work, we have shown how the theorem prover Isabelle can be combined with the constraint solver Z3 to effic...

A New Architecture for Automated Modelling

Existing automated modelling systems either rely on large, complex libraries or require complete access to the modelled system’s behaviour, neither of which is desirable, To address these problems, a simpler architecture for modelling knowledge is described, based on the separation between ideal models of components and corrections that can be applied to these idea1 models. The use of this arch...

Behavioural Model Fusion

Behavioural Model Fusion Shiva Nejati Doctor of Philosophy Graduate Department of Computer Science University of Toronto 2008 In large-scale model-based development, developers periodically need to combine collections of interrelated models. These models may capture different features of a system, describe alternative perspectives on a single feature, or express ways in which different features...

The effect of bio rhythmic states of traders on their perceptual decisions in Tehran Stock Exchange

The aim of this study is to find the effect of trader’s biorhythmic cycles on their perceptual decisions in Tehran Stock Exchange. According to author’s point of view, decision making is one of the major factors of management skills, and in some cases, it is equivalent of management (Simon’s point of view). Also considering this fact that the knowledge of psychological factors and it’s effects ...
